What is the difference between BPC-157 and TB-500?

Updated: 2026-09-09 · Recovery: BPC-157 and TB-500

Short answer

They are different molecules with different stories. BPC-157 comes from a gastric sequence and has mostly been studied in tissue healing. TB-500 is a fragment related to thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in cell migration. They are paired out of forum habit, not because clinical evidence supports combining them.

In plain English

  • BPC-157: preclinical focus on tendon, muscle and gut lining.
  • TB-500: linked to actin and cell motility.
  • Neither is approved to treat human injuries.

What we know

  • Both have preclinical literature, not large clinical trials.
  • Combined products exist commercially, but the combination is not clinically validated.

What we don't know yet

  • Whether either helps in humans alone, let alone whether stacking adds anything.
