How much bacteriostatic water do I need for a 5 mg vial?

Short answer
'5 mg' on its own does not let you work out the correct volume. If the product has approved labeling or a pharmacy or clinician instruction, the diluent and the volume are the ones specified there. Separately from that, as pure arithmetic: water does not change how much peptide is in the vial, it only changes the concentration in milligrams per millilitre.

- The vial holds 5 mg whether you add 1 ml or 3 ml.
- Less water = more concentrated = smaller marks on the syringe.
- More water = easier to measure precisely, but the vial empties in fewer draws.
